Onchocerciasis....ooohh, sounds exotic!
I'm looking through a document of all the fun diseases I'll have to look out for while in Cameroon. It's actually quite fun looking them all up on wikipedia. The only one I'm really concerned about is Dengue Fever, already had it once so if I get it again there's a MUCH greater chance i'll start hemorrhaging and die.
Here's a list, just for your viewing pleasure: Amebiasis Cholera Dengue Ebola Giardiasis Guinea-Worm Hepatitis (all three of 'em!) HIV/AIDS Hookworm Hypertension Jaundice Leishmaniasis Lymphatic Filariasis Malaria Onchocerciasis Polio Schistosomiasis Sickle Cell Syphilis Trypanosomiasis Tuberculosis Typhoid Yellow Fever
