ya, I live in a big city so the stars barely even show up. it's nice when I'm out camping or something. last summer I went on a camping trip with a bunch of friends. I love living in the city but it was such a nice change just to get away from everything.

I took my ex out and we sat under the stars last night, and it was nice....

Mmmm, hmmm the stars are nice to look at but if I was actually up there...they'rwe huge...like the sun is a star...a rather small star, and we wouldn't need a thermal blanket as those things generate a hella lot of heat!

I like looking up at the sky from time to time.
Sometimes I imagine that one day we'll be able to touch it or maybe actually see teh earth come up or something stupid like that. And I'm one of the few people out there who loves walking in the rain. I have not used an umbrella in almost 6 years. I think people take a lot of things for granted because they've either lived in places where things a lot of things were in abundance or they were raised to be spoiled brats. I'd also like to think that you can only appreciate life as you see it. Some people take earth and sometimes life too for granted. Sorta like the suicidal girl next door who doesn't see what she can become in the next 3 yeas and so takes her life that people pu their own life force and spirit into. Same with the planet. People (mostly americans from waht I've seen) have so much at their disposal and become lazy and can't see anything beyond their tv screen so they sit at home and grow more and more 'pleasantly plump' each day not seeing all the beauty in it, like flowers, clouds that look like everyday things, and the color of the sky in the morning. And they miss out on the smell of rain before it actually starts and a ton of other things. If people studiedPoe the way they studied Shakespeare the world would make a lot more sense. And if people watched their kids more than they watched the Simpsons we'd all be genuises. I'll probably end up editing this post later. I think I've had too much purple kool aid |
I saw a beautiful sunset today, it was gorgeous. I thought this'd be the best place to tell you. it was all pink and blue and beautiful. You don't see a lot of that sorta thing round here so it was special

I take it for granted. I see those at least once a week :)

please, don't rub it in...

we have the best sunsets here in alberta. I should take a picture one of these days and post it, then you'll see what I mean. as for sunrises, the only time I'm up early enough for those is when the sun is coming up when I'm either just going to sleep, or just coming home from being out.

I was playing frisbee today and me and a friend saw a rainbow.
It was so beautiful. I don't see those a lot anymore in real life. The most I ever saw them were when I was either high on life or smoking when it was sunny out. Man it feels good to be smoke free. Peace out. |
