Personally I think this is stupid, I would not care in the slightest if any of my favourite musicians came out of the closet. It doesn't change the music they make, or the music they have already made. I wouldn't have any kind of major reaction.

I don't care about the social what's and where's of my favourite artists. I'd be very surprised if they came out of the closet though because most of them are dead. But apart from that I don't think it matters one tiny bit. Musicians aren't idols because of their sexuality, they're idols because of how well they can play.
