I have relatives who would still live in Europe if it wasn't for the Holocaust. Frankly I find this sentiment repulsive.

i'm not guilty of doing that ~ not then, and not now. i have 3 super close friends ~ one's Japanese, one's black, and one's hispanic. i love them, and they love me, and none of us is concerned about race. That's what America was aiming for with the anti-segregation, anti-discrimination stuff ~ if folks live, work, and go to school together, they figure out real quick that they're pretty much all the same on the inside, and the outside doesn't make that much diff. Or at least, they were supposed to be able to figure it out...

i wasn't aware that i was arguing, actually. i could see the dude's point, was all, and thought that it related to life, in general. i really do try to look at things from both sides, to examine how i would feel, in the same situation. Some are easy (like this one) because there is a common factor.
