Perhaps neither.

Just because a black person has assimilated into the American culture and feels that all the slave stuff was a long time ago, and has nothing to do with him, nor his life, isn't a reason to condemn him.

What original nationality did YOU come from? Most of us don't remember because all we've been is Americans. Our forefathers assimilated, and we have no gripes against whomever might have caused the move; i daresay ALL of us are pretty happy to be here.

And don't forget about the Japanese and the Chinese ~ i don't hear them, either.
