My friend and I are gonna be Mario and Luigi. Im Luigi :)
It was between that and me and 2 friends being Run DMC..but we decided against it.

last year i was john lennon circa sgt peppers and the lonely hearts club band as seen attached. this year since my hair is getting longer i might go for jim morrison.

Thats either actually Willie Nelson..or the best costume ever.

I'm being a mummy, complete with toilet paper.

Last year I was an emo kid. It was gnarly.

I don't go out anymore for Halloween, but I will go to that one house on my street to get a king sized candy bar which they give out. :) love that couple.

It's only when you get to be drinking age that it actually gets REALLY fun. Girls dress like prostitutes. :)

I think I'm gonna go as Alex DeLarge this year...hair is long enough and I just need to find a bowler hat.

All of my friends say they're going to stop going out next year.

i'm going as a ghostbuster with 6 other friends. the wonderful thing is that we all pitched in, bought an old station wagon, and we turned it in to the ecto-1. this is what makes halloween so much more fun when you're an adult. you get much better costume opportunities. pictures will be posted later on.

I'm going as Patrick Wolf or Kevin Barnes.

One of my friends is going as David Bowie. And it seems like every other person I've met is going as the Joker. I'm staying home and playing the score to Suspiria on our sound system (it's a million times better than all of those crappy Halloween sound effect cd's) while handing out candy. I'll probably end up going on a cheesy horror movie binge too.

I'm thinking Joker or Two Face, but I think I'll go Two Face, seeing as there will be a billion Jokers in this city of less than 200 thousand. Last year I was gonna be Michael Myers because that's what everyone called me, but I went as Scarface, which was pimp.

Me and my gf were gonna be sinners, I was going to dress as a homosexual and she was going to have a bloody fetus hanging out of her.

Halloween parties are the most off the chain parties of the year man. Girls have merit to dress as slutty as they want. Last Halloween I got with a pussycat doll, not everyday you can say that.

Lol, ever been to a middle school Halloween Party? Hopefully it'll get better with High School.

So you dunked for apples together eh? ;). It certainly was'nt a criticism at all just an observation. Halloween parties were never like that when I was young (although it was like one hundred years ago).

that's not a costume...thats just lingerie. If you write mary magdalene on your stomach, basically the same thing with some sharpie marker.

Gotta love halloween, gives such a wonderful outlet for girls to grab attention.

I'm very aware that it is just lingerie. But believe it or not the above costume is considered modest for Franklin street, considering it is mainly topless girls running around.

a 250lbs chick is still fat standing next to a 300lbs one; and a girl wearing a bra and tutu, even when standing next to a topless girl...

well, guess I'm gonna have yo walk you through this one. No matter what you compare it to, a girl walking around in a bra and tutu is obviously begging for attention. tons of girls do it, not only on halloween either.

Your reference to skiers was cute. the difference is, a chick walking around in a bra and and a tutu has no reason for it other than to get attention. Same goes for a guy walking around in a spedo and bow tie for a chip and dale costume.

a skier in a race suit is concentrating on their sport. it's required for downhill racers to wear racers. thats it, thats all.

Professional dancers would not fall into your category of attention grabbers, any more than skiers. A dancer is concentrating on their job. The costumes are not the dancers choice, any more than the race suits are the skiers choices ~ it's just the nature of the beast.

Before dismissing me, you might want to consider that this entire thread (and our Halloween tradition) is dedicated to what you call 'attention grabbers,'
