I was voted Most School Spirit.
I'm wearing the shirt I won, actually.

Those things were mostly a joke in my high school. No matter who you voted for, all the "popular" people were in charge of the yearbook, so they picked their friends to be in it. If you weren't friends with them, you didn't get to be on the ballot of "most popular", "best smile", "Funniest Laugh" Or the like.

That's funny, it's the exact opposite at my school. Only about 10% or less of the people in charge of our yearbook are considered popular. I help make our yearbook, and we make sure that everyone has a decent amount of pictures in the book, and the ballot's are pretty fair.

I was really friends with everyone. It's hard not to be in such a small school.

I hung around with the artists (seriously, like all my friends go to art school or small liberal arts schools now) and hipsters ().

I was popular when I was in high school.
We always do stupid things in school that
teachers always send us to the
guidance office.

My high school wasn't strong on cliques - I guess you could have loosely divided everyone in our year into the druggies group, the petrolheads, the sports players and the large general group. I mainly used to hang out with the general group, but I was friends with people from all groups.

I suppose I was seen as a rebellious nerd. Nerd because I was pretty smart, I did well at school and I like computers (and gaming). Rebellious because I had little regard for rules/conventions and crossed a few legal boundaries back then.
