I'm starting over this year. New places, new people, new hobbies. 2009 has had me stuck in a rut and I'm glad to be going out of it. Here's to a cleaner, healthier, happy year in 2010... full of friends, family and of course great music.

Today I am rejoicing because last night was my first gig performing in the band that I'm in now, and it went really well. I had random people coming up to me afterwards saying that they really enjoyed it and really loved my voice which was very surprising and made me happy because I thought I wasn't that good.

Well, I didn't think it was anything special, honestly. We are our own worst critics, I guess.

Yes, the gig was recorded, I've got lots and lots of photos, and my bandmates have the video so it'll be upped to YouTube as soon as I get my hands on it!

im rejoicing prematurely here ... we officially close our doors tomorrow for a nice long holiday ....

and after a horrible year, both personally and work wise im looking forward to a fresh start in 2010. Hopefully full of opportunities and great times.
