I'm practically engaged at this point, so I don't really have the option of finding out whether it'd work :P I should say that I got with my current gf through a persistent campaign of spur-of-the-moment joke flattery and shared innuendo. Cheesy definitely works on the right people!

This is one of those moments when you find yourself being excited about something that ordinary people probably don't get all that excited about:

So last night I had a 12-pack of brew. Well, the way I open my 12-packs is by ripping a hole in the side where the handle in the box is, then lay the box flat and just reach in for my beers. So, at some point during the night, I went to the fridge and only saw one left, in the far left corner of the box. Grabbed it, drank it, called it a night.

So today, I go to throw the box out, only to discover there were beers in the remaining 3 corners!
My day: sufficiently brightened.

I hear you man. Last week I bought a bottle of Jim Beam because I thought I was out. Got home, went to put it in the cabinet, and lo and behold there was a half full bottle already in there. Made my evening.

Nice. It's always a wonderful feeling when you have more alcohol than you expected to.

You got through 9 beers in a night? I'd be laying naked in the foetal position, covered in vomit, crying out (or slurring uncontrollably) for my mum if a drank that much.

You need to drink more.

Yeah man, clearly I'm not as hardcore as you

Shame on me.

Stu, rejoice that you're not yet an alcoholic.
Like the others, I rejoice whenever I realize I've had less than 10 or so drinks the previous day.

Haha, all of you seem alcoholics to me.

Doesn't matter. Forgot I bought beer today. Went to the fridge to get some apple juice or something. Found my beer. Now having beer. Awwww yeaaah :D.
