hahaha, thanks guys, this is exactly what I was looking for. Well maybe not the mass murder tangent, but it was very funny nonetheless. There's about a 1% chance that I'll secure anything with any of these papers, but I figured it doesn't hurt to try so I'll start at the top and then go down from there with the applications.

Now I need to do a little internet stalking to find out as much as possible about the editors of all these papers. Names, career history, names of their children, their schools and lists of their greatest fears....

haha. good stuff. i'll be contacting all the "upper class" and "middle class" papers (except the financial times, since, well it would bore me to tears) in a couple of months after i hopefully pad out my portfolio. if someone agrees to take me on as an intern expect a thread filled with lots of exclamation marks and large capital letters.
