haha no not to the extreme as "Strange Brew" but yes I do have an accent. That is kind of what sn was sayin' in a nutshell too. I mean sn you have an accent you just don't think you do (and just because others accents are stronger than yours doesn't mean there put on, just different exposure).
EDIT : I also want to add I have never and never will say aboot (about). This American girl giggled at me one time and said I said it man I was pissed cuz I know I NEVER say it. |

A Texan drawl doesnt do much for me at all I'm afraid. Now if it's French or a soft Irish lilt then I'm knocked bandy (Swooning). I have a Slovakian friend who loves my accent and is constantly amazed by the sheer number of different accents we have in Britain.
I have to say though that certain phrases sound great in whatever accent they are spoken in
