I think that saying your parents are crazy is a good idea. If he doesn't get it when you ignore him, then make every conversation really quick. Be really nice but just say a few sentences and say bye and walk away. Do that enough and he'd have to get it.

i've had to deal with somebody like that at least once every year for the past 3 years. they ****ing drive me insane! there was this one guy who wouldn't stop talking about Cthulu, and 4chan, and GWAR, and all this **** i didn't care about, and when the bell rang and i walked out, he followed me the entire time to tell me about Communism or something completely stupid. and he ALWAYS through in these vague suggestions that i should invite him over to my house. EVERY TIME he talked at me. he did this to everybody, i swear, EVERYBODY, and every person i asked hates him, but cant work up the courage to tell him off. he has a rapist voice and whenever he tells some kind of sexual joke, it makes you feel extremely uncomfortable, even if you're a guy. you think he's serious. it's just terrible. my luck finally came to the fact that he was one grade lower than me, and i don't have to see him in school ever again because im freaking out of there!

Stay in it until he proposes. Then, come wedding day, take the ring and ditch him at the altar. It's all worth it.
Trust me, one day this lame-ass friend of yours will invite you to a party with Greg Oden there. And then you'll know it's been worth it.

take him to some place where he'll feel really uncomfortable like a crazy club and go out, do your thing and let him fend for himself. repeat as much as possible. he'll realize he's out of his pond and stop buggin you as much.
