technically bush has not officially won. ohio will count their provisional votes in 10 days. when this happens, if kerry wins the vote (which he will not) then he will win. him conceding is not legally pertinent.

Actually David, Bush was leading in all states that were left when Kerry conceded. Even with losing Ohio (which is doubtful, since 90% of provisional votes probably won't be allowed), he can win the rest of the states he was leading and still win.

I'm gonna try to silence myself for a bit since it's just after the election, but I found an interesting quote you guys should read.

“Those under thirty that aren’t liberal, have no heart. Those over thirty that aren’t conservative, have no brain” -Winston Churchill

i think the current state of affairs is a bit more complex than that. btw, nearly all of the oil seized in iraq is useless and cannot be used in american/asian/euro cars.

as far as the election goes, i sympathize for anyone who is still upset with the results. i think its time to move on (if you havent already). you must accept that a large majority of america selected the lesser of two evils, which apparently was dubya.
more shockingly, the biggest issue among voters was moral values. and since americans know so much about moral values...

Based on exit polls...Exit polls also had Kerry winning. So wouldn't take that to heart too much.

honestly putting all politics aside, from what i hear, kerry got screwed out of thousands of votes in ohio and in florida. but what can you do. the election is long over and everyone is already talking about 2008

Ohio and Florida had people voting in both states...actually voting in one and absentee voting in another. Ohio had the person giving away crack to people who signed up to vote promised to vote for kerry. I don't really care anything about those states.

But if honest people got cheated out of their vote then that is a shame.
