What problems have I been having? What problems have I been having!!!!!!!!!
It took me 30 minutes just to get on MB tonight. So far I can only access this and the BBC!!! And that's probably only because of cookies. I know for a fact that so called unlimited downloads means fuck all because everyone is forced to use shared bandwidth, which means if things get busy....everything gets clogged up. Orange are notorious for it...shower of twats! |

I got it wrong saying 4 hours surfing per day = 1GB
Here's a more accurate breakdown; Surfing... 4 hours a day Email with Attachments...15 a week Email... 100 a week Downloading songs and short video... 10 a week Listen to Online Radio... 2 hours a week = 1GB PER MONTH |

Edit: So you were way way off? Take the fucking 30gigs then...:\

RT, the average film, dvd quality is around 700-900 mb's. So unless your downloading over 30 films per month, or 1 film a day. Or 60 porno's a month. You really should be fine.
Assuming you download a 100 mb cd. You need 10 of those for 1 gigabyte. So you would have to download up to the hundreds of music per month... As for the bandwith, you might wanna fiddle with the settings on the router. But yeah, it shouldn't take 30 minutes to go on mb with dial-up, so i really don't know your problem, unless you share internet with everyone in your entire apartment? |

I use Virgin media which is unlimited unless you download over a certain amount then youre connection speed lowers but the download amount is 3gb.....a day! Needless to say I have never had my speed lessened. I am on a 4 meg connection at the moment and it NEVER drops. This is going up to 10 megs for free in the next month or so. Happy days.
