...Emo music is not dark at all, really. Plus, the sometimes dark emotive hardcore lyrics aren't really about the world. I find them to sometimes be very self-centered, not that that is wrong in the lyrical world at all.

Holy crap, this is so false I am surprised the person even published it. Not to mention, "sounds like rock" is the most generalized sentence you could use.

this is just the most retarded thing that I have heard... and I thought that I heard everything.
There were so many thing that I did not like about this article but I will only name two.
1) The fact that because of this, people are going to blame america for the emo movemeant and all the suicide that is going on.

2) And because she killed herself to get to a place called the black parade? WTF?

This is just as bad as the kid who tryed to commit suicide to get to heaven and kill Jesus.
