That reminds me of the Tenacious D skit where Jack and Kyle order a 5 piece instead of 6 piece nugget meal and half coke half diet coke.

People are fat because they enjoy eating and don't enjoy exercising.
I also believe that Crisco is to blame for most of the weight/health issues in the world circa 1911. The introduction of hydrogenated oils, which is a man made oil that is the equivalent to edible plastic (it was used to make candles before it was realized it could be used in food as a cheap substitute that also acted as a preservative). The human body takes longer to break it down and since it is a foreign substance it latches itself onto various parts of the body (other then the stomach) giving you pouches in the neck, under the arms, etc.

I've been reading ingredients since learning of this oil and if I see the words Hydrogenated I don't buy it. Here is the wiki article on it... interesting/scary stuff.

Hydrogenated Oil is banned in the U.S? It has got bad press here (u.k) recently and has virtually been eradicated from processed foods now.

There is a definite problem though with access to better quality foods. In my lunch hour I would kill for decent nutritous food instead of a Burger/ Sandwich/ Pastie. The amount of fast food restaurants in places like Italy is so low due to their access to natural foods, why do we have to be little America?

They are "s - l - o - w - l - y" removing hydrogenated oils from foods in America but it is still in a lot of foods so I wouldn't think it was banned... eventually I hope it is. It's bad enough watching fat intake and all but when you have to watch chemical intake it becomes too much.

Everyone has a right to mold their body into any shape, no matter how massive, they want. If ya want to be fat, have a donut. Don't change just because society has certain superficial norms that "must be met."

But if you do choose to be fat, don't start crying and whining the day you realize you can't walk out your front door because you've eaten a roomful of Krispy Kremes. And don't come down on other people for being unhealthy until you learn how to put down the fork.

I guess what I'm saying is, be what you want to be, but don't be a hypocrite/little bitch/both about it.

Same thing could be just as equally applied to alcoholics , junkies or anybody that abuses anything.
I've never heard anyone say to an alcoholic 'why don't you just drink cranberry juice instead of vodka' or 'why dont you go for a walk instead of shooting heroin' to a junkie.

that's because an alcoholic will beat you with his bottle and the junkie will stab you with his needle. 1 quick step, and unless fattie pulls a gun, you're clear.
