Hmm, that's interesting, because I don't want to go anywhere. I didn't say that I would automatically be happy living somewhere else. I might be depressed, and seen as kind of a sick person, and I might be depressed anywhere else, but that doesn't take away my right to sit right here in America and voice my opinion. And I'm not just a bitter, twisted person. I honestly believe we can do better as a people, and it tears me up inside. I'm just as intolerant of intolerance as the next person, but that's regarding intolerance without any clear reason. I'm not saying that all Americans are automatically bad people, but I'm simply basing it off my own experience. Savannah, I'm glad for you, and you should feel blessed that you have an inability to see our flaws, but I'm not built like that, so I'll go ahead and voice what I feel is right.

That's because (I THINK) you can only get a permit for hunting guns so gun crime isn't exactly at a peak in Britain, but we have the occasional stabbing, rape, drink driver and kidnapper, you know just to keep the newspapers interesting.

2) its not that i'm blind to our flaws,....its that i see everywhere has flaws, and imo, at the end of the day, i'd still rather live here than anywhere else in the world,....

i'm not sure how it is now,....BUT when i was there a few years ago, you could only keep your guns at the range,.......
and i thought the bobbies started carring guns,......
and most of the europeans i met were dying to come to america as well
