Many years ago I was a moderator for IGN. The chief perk was I didn't have to pay for any content and could chitchat with the writers for various sections and we'd get free **** mailed to us once in a while.

I decided to quit by staying up all night banning people, deleting content, and unbanning troll accounts. Much lulz was had.

they asked me to be a mod for a Malaysian law forum

i rejected the offer

in hindsight, it was a wise choice, cos it was full of racists, homophobes, religious nutjobs and people who think they know a lot but actually, they know shit from shinola

I am guessing it was a horrible forum and it must have had constant fights. I feel for you man.

I think I actually had an account on IGN a long time ago... don't remember my username though.

Yeah I did years ago too, I remember the boards being atrocious. Gamespot had a better forum, but I never posted at either for very long.

IGN's forums were mostly horrible; I was supposed to mostly moderate the X-Box & Music forums, specifically the metal subsection. Any forum for any console was essentially devoted to endless fanboy ***gotry; the most hilarious/annoying of which occurred before the ****ing consoles were even released. There were actual Dolphin fan boys, I **** you not.

The metal board, on the other hand, was essentially a bunch of jagoffs fapping to Opeth & Dream Theater & debating whether Soilwork & In Flames were the greatest death metal band evar.
