Intimidators
Here's my thought:
It seems like a lot of people today are really intimidating. Like, not intimidating, but trying to intimidate me for some reason. It seems like there used to be very few bullies in society like it was 20/80- 20% bullies. Now, it seems like 80/20. Does anyoe else feel that way, or am I just really easily intimidated? |

hmm, that's an interesting theory. I assume that you mean the slackers of society are being pushed to the top, or that Alpha-type males somehow discourage complacency through aggressive intimidation in a dog eat dog world.
My point is this - I feel like we, in society are always looking for some kind of a weakness in others. But, why do we do that? I would like to be vulnerable sometimes. Sometimes, I am weak, but I don't deserved to be patronized or belittled because of it. Sometimes, I am weak, not necessarily because of the choices I have made, but maybe I have a tooth hurting me, or maybe I didn't get enough sleep last night, because my company wanted me to deliver a hot load, and have it delivered much sooner than I felt comfortable doing. Anyway, the point is, I would like to sometimes be weak or be vulnerable, because I feel that way, and I feel like society is just way too macho to understand that. |
