how do I get music I recently downloaded into my itunes library? any help will be apperciated

What formats will itunes accept?

Check what format the file is...

Mp3 music, I can play it on the windows media player but not my itunes.

Are you sure the file isnt a wma file.
Can itunes play wma format?

it's a mp3 format sound

Itunes converts .wma so that wouldn't matter.

Have you unzipped the file?

Apparently yes because he played it in Windows media playa.

no that's not it, and when I try to open the smiths album i downloaded it just opens my itunes library

Just tell Apple to GTFO. Their monopoly on downloading legal music is beyond a joke and the earphones in I-pods are terrible AND you can only sync with one PC! What? you payed for the music you can put it where you damn like! Give me an i-pod for free and I wouldnt use it.

Steve Job's makes wonderful, intuitive software. Just because it doesn't work well with a computer it's not designed for doesn't mean he should go to hell.

Fucking sigh. Ok, so I wanna make the last.fm plug in work with my ipod so it can scrobble what I've been listening to on it, but in order to do that, I have to set itunes to sync automatically. Now, if I have this right, that means it's gonna copy everything I have in my library to the ipod. That's cool if I can somehow manage the library manually, put only albums I want on the ipod in it...so how do I delete the entire library and only add certain albums?

Actually it was designed for windows. Not originally, but if they're gonna port it, they better do a damn good job considering the majority of ipod users have windows.

He ported it to windows right?
