The same thing that is making kids here beat the hell out of people for merely saying boo to them. Disillusionment but with a justice system that is lacking in moral fibre and great big balls. At least in this country anyhow. Sorry I was'nt much help! Unless you make it a blanket thread to include the escalating violence over here?

I blame the 'Think of the children' brigade.
They've basically wrapped kids up in cotton wool that they can get away with anything without an consequences. I love it how so many kids these days have these so called problems like ADD. ADD? when I was a kid it was called being a annoying prick. You didn't get drugs for it , you got told to sit down & shut the fuck up The reason it's happening is because people are always looking for the easy option rather than taking responsibility. If I got up to no good I could guarantee there would be someone around to tell my Dad about it , and he WOULD do something about it. I bet if I were to complain about the pikeys that live opposite me I would get told in no uncertain terms to fuck off. So to sum up , the reason it's happening is because kids know if they do something wrong they know they'll always be someone there to make excuses for them and stop them from getting any proper discipline.

And when they rebel, the consequences are dire. I'm also wondering how much pressure American society has on individuals to become socially accepted. American culture seems to catagorise individuals into definable groups from an early age. ie; Jocks, nerds, geeks, dorks, cool/uncool etc. |

I hate kids these days, and i am one of them. well i am almost 19 so kinda in between, i totally agree with Urban kids get off so easy with everything. Like this week at school there was a fight like always, so the two kids were fighting, I know neither of them so i am not involved, anyways the fight ends one kid gets his ass handed to him, so the firends of the loser beats the other kid down stomping him, then when they were done, one of the kids who was stomping him comes back and pepper sprays they kids, and honestly it would not surprise me if i see this kid sometime soon around school, kids get of with so much these days, and here is this kid still in hospital 2 days later. I know this is not a shooting or anything but i am tired of this Sh*t happening all the time, and i know my school is not the only one.

The school system is weak. One of my friends got suspended for saying fuck in front of the super intendant and another one of my friends got in a fight and no one even got detention even though it was broken up by like two teachers.
