To anyone considering grad school in a research based field:
I won't say don't do it, but get ready for the emotional mind**** that is about to occur. Is it hard? No. In fact, I find classes easier than as an undergrad. Is the work impossible? Not really. So what is it then? You've got to be self motivated, you will constantly be proving yourself to your peers, your experiments will probably not work most of the time, and you will constantly be told you are not good enough (even if this is not said directly, you will think your advisors and professors are thinking it). Yes, you've proven you can handle memorizing and regurgitating facts with your undergrad years. Grad school is meant to show you can handle constantly feeling hopeless, worthless, and poor. I need a vacation.

I like tan ladies but i look at them with a grain of salt like "stop pretending like you go outside most of the day"
That being said to get some melanin is nice, def don't like pasty looking skin. So pretty much i want them to be true to themselves but still be more aesthetically pleasing too |

Grad school can be so traumatizing that I know quite a few people who dropped out and started doing jobs like those. They seem much happier for it.

I really wish my friends would/could find jobs. It sucks hearing things like "Yeah we're going to go up to the lake and drink beer and smoke pot, wanna come?" and I'm stuck saying "... I have to work..."
