Good luck, man. I hope you find something soon. Being unemployed isn't fun.

Yeah, I have a couple small gigs that'll keep some pocket change coming in, but nothing steady. Thanks man.

I didn't get a call. so I guess i'll call Monday. if I don't get scheduled for an interview or something, I don't know what else to do.

both of these were using the best tools at my disposal. one was the connections, and the other was me going in, meeting the assistant manager, and turning my app in on the same day.

i swear, if I don't get a job soon...
i seem to be having the exact opposite problem you do. i've been working 60-70 hour weeks for the past 2 and a half months, my life is basically waking up, going to work, getting ****faced, coming home and passing out. its dreadful, i've realized that work is the biggest waste of life i have ever experienced, aside from public schooling.

I agree. Hit me up if you come with a method of making money that doesn't require any physical exertion and/or douchey bosses to deal with.

honestly, i feel sorry for you. if life to you is "keeping busy" as opposed to a glorious exploration of the senses then i'd suggest rethinking your views. trust me when i say working this much is a soul crusher.

Actually it can be a lot of work, but I work for myself, make my own hours, and get paid a little more than I ever would with a regular part-time job. And I don't even have to leave my house because my students come to me. The only issue that ever comes up is nit-picky, bitchy parents who complain to me that I either charge too much, they don't think I'm teaching the right material, or that their kid's not learning anything.

But I'm shy.

To make this relevant to the Bitch Box, I have absolutely no idea what I want to do with my life and I'm nearing the end of my sophomore year in college and have to declare a major by the end of the year, so it's been stressing me out a bit. I want to take time off from college to figure out what it is I want to do, but I'd probably end up paying for my last two years on my own if I did that....
