Wooo I just got my first article rejection from my school newspaper. Apparently educating people on why Tor is a great internet browser for surfing the net anonymously offends my school's sensibilities. I am a little relieved though because now I don't have to worry about one of the computer science majors bitching about how I messed up a small detail in my explanation of how Tor works. I suppose it's to be expected at a school where every bulletin board has a poster telling students not to download. I will give them credit though, at least it isn't "Don't Copy that Floppy".

Most likely, I expected it to get rejected so I wrote a few other backup articles for the paper, but that was the one I put the most effort into by trying to explain how Tor works. C'est la vie, my article about German hackers trying to launch their space program for an uncensored internet will have to suffice while I try and find another local paper to write for.
