Sunburned the shit out of my shins on Saturday, have been in constant pain ever since. Sunburns completely destroy my appetite so I've barely eaten since Saturday, which is making me cranky, but I hate forcing myself to eat so I'm kind of screwed either way. I can hardly sleep because the slightest movement means I wake up writhing in agony. I can't really go out much because it means moving and moving hurts, so I'm stuck at home which means I get restless which means I have even more trouble falling asleep. On top of that it's Hot August Nights so the population of the town has grown exponentially except now it's full of old rich Californians and their shitty fucking classic cars all over the fucking streets.
On the plus side though a friend of mine is coming over to give me some Vicodin for my pain, so I guess there's a silver lining in everything. That said though, fuck summer and fuck shorts. |

It's easily the worst I've had in years. In 2007 my dad and I went to Tofino to get away from the city and get shitfaced in peace. I didn't put any sunscreen on my feet and burned the ever living crap out of them. That was pure agony, which only got worse after a jellyfish stung them. Still I could put some aloe vera on it and be alright for a good 15-20 minutes, however with this one, no matter how much I put on it goes right back to hurting by the time I limp to the washroom to wash the excess off my hands.
Here's what it looks like after 5 days. |

I was wearing some slip ons while in the water, so my feet were at least covered, I never want to go through that experience again. That said though I doubt I'll be wearing shorts outside again anytime soon.

You think that's bad? This is my arm after wearing a watch in the New Zealand sun for one day three and a half years ago.
