I'm just wondering how much it would actually add to the show. I love it too, but I don't think I'd get any more out of it by having it on Blu-Ray.

If it was some CG-heavy show, or primarily visually oriented, then maybe... but The Sopranos?

How could improved visual fidelity not help any show?

Err... if the show isn't based on visual fidelity?
Besides, I can't imagine anyone saying that DVD quality Sopranos detracted from their Sopranos experience. Sure, I guess it would look nicer on Blu-Ray, but I personally can't see the gain outweighing the cost in the slightest.

I already own all 6 1/2 seasons of The Sopranos on DVD, no way I'm forking out the cash to replace on Blu Ray at twice the price.

I don't have a blu-ray player, so a physical copy doesn't do much for me...

Why are eBooks so damned expensive? I'm not paying $10 for The Maltese Falcon when it came out 80 years ago! It's practically public domain. There's hardly any manufacturing that goes into making an eBook, no delivery or stocking fees, so why in the name of Jesus' pierced cock are we paying this much?

Oh well, I guess it's a day of slumming around the used bookstores in town where I'll probably get it for a dollar.
