You are not allowed to stay in a lane when you can to go the right. And you are not allowed to pass on the right. Which is practical on one side, as there's less surprises. But there's always some stupid dicks passing you on the right and you're really not prepared for that... Quote:
Just hit the brakes hard on an emty highway at 70mph once and you'll now. There's no way you'll stop in time if you see how may meters you drive in that half a second responce time you have. Here's a tip for motorists; When you are behind a car, pick an object next to the road like a lamp post or a spot on the road. When the object passes the car in front of you, make sure it takes at least two seconds for the object to get to your car. This is the minimal distance you want to have. It obviously depends on the speed you're driving on. You'll see that two seconds is quite a lot and this only works on a dry road. When it's rainy, you'll need at least three seconds. It's a bit weird at first because even I, being a very safe driver (safe is NOT the same as slow an annoying) only got to one to one and a half seconds. Now I always have at least two seconds between me and the car in front of me and I must say it's much more relaxing to drive that way. Obviously there's ****ers going to fill up the hole. Who cares, just ease down on the throttle a little if they are too close and not pulling away. That's something else. WHY do people take you over and then release the throttle? What's the point?

There are plenty of people where overtaking gives them a sense of dominance over you, even if they drive slowly after overtaking you.
Something happened to me not so long ago, I was overtaking a car that was driving a bit slower than me but while I was trying to overtake him he started to accellerate, to the point where I was unable to overtake him and had to pull back. After that he continued to drive at a faster speed. It's ****s like these that I absolutely hate.

I don't say I don't curse at other drivers. Some of them just deserve to drive straight into a lamp post. But I don't cause any dangerous situations because I'm angry at them. I just let them be and silently hope they crash without hurting anyone but themselves .

Old habits die hard. My driving will never change. I only tailgate people who are tailgating. If someone tailgates me, I use my gears to brake and slow down to about 15/20mph. Assuming that I'm not in a hurry!

well, i can't hit a note effortlessly above C3 anymore. If i try to, i really struggle and it gives me that screeching sound. I use to have C3-E6 vocal range, closely resembles a lyric tenor but now, i maybe just your ordinary Baritone. it really sucks. |

I personally hate the people who pass in the right lane. It's like I'll go into the left lane to pass a car and make sure I'm a safe distance ahead of them before I get back over to the right lane. And some guy going like 90MPH will be behind me as I pass and then cut back over into the right lane and pass me before I can get over. Damnit I hate those people.
I'm a super attentive driver, like I am always staring at the road, both hands on the wheel. I don't text much or fiddle around with anything distracting. I was the driver in a serious accident a few years ago and my brother had to have life saving surgery and you never forget those type of moments or feelings so I'm always like extra cautious to not put myself in jeopardizing situations on the road |
