In response to dj, as far as mods changing his avatar, I don't think he'll have to worry about that anymore. I'm not fully aware of who did what and when, but we are collectively making an effort to be a bit more sensitive when it comes to stuff like this. And dj, in the interest of a related matter, I was the one to put "official post reporter" in your signature a while back. Won't happen again. (And we don't mind people reporting posts. It helps.)

Anyway, if someone has a legitimate issue with anything that we do, I (and, I'm sure, the other mods) would definitely appreciate those issues be first taken up with us so we can possibly sort out any misunderstandings. If people can't trust what we might tell them, then we are definitely doing something wrong.
