I think I'm going to defend the mod team here.

I honestly don't know what you're talking about with the mods banning people. I've never even been warned, to be honest, and I've argued with mods countless times since being here.

Virgin, for example, wasn't banned for months. Furthemore, I've never seen many people who were banned, and not 100% asking for it. I've NEVER seen anyone banned over music opinions ever. It's not like you'll get banned for saying 'The Rolling Stones are donkey turd eating ****farts'. I could probably say that ten times a Sunday.

I mean, in all fairness, if you want to make such accusations. Back it up by telling me who, if anyone, has ever been banned from this site for music opinions?

If you are talking to me, where in my post did I say anything about them banning someone for their music opinion?

Was talking more about Dirty who vaguely hints at it. I'm not sure what's going on with yourself. Seems odd that your avatar was changed, but somehow I'm doubting that was a joint decision, or an indication of victimization.

I mean, it's something to complain about, but not like we should burn down the whole mod team for it. Besides, I found Dirty's comments kind of irrelevant, and untrue. Mod team have never given me trouble.

That's because you stick to the rules and contribute real content to the forums. People who get banned are those who have consistently letting themselves down and have broken the rules. People often don't see the damage the person creates on the boards as it is often deleted to maintain a standard of decency for the rest of the users. We let people have many, many chances to turn a new leaf.

I agree, I don't think you can point to the mod team as a whole for this, or anything for that matter.

I don't really think we should burn down the whole mod team either but it seems like they have created a divide between members and the mods where they are sometimes above their own "law".

Yeah some of Dirty's comments I don't agree with. The mod team is pretty welcoming as far as posting in people's introduction thread.

Most of the time when a new person decides to post a link or something while in their introduction thread. They usually tell them it isn't allowed and show the thread with the rules.
