Scary Movie was a decent spoof, although I do think it started to eat its own tail towards the end. I thought the sequels were absolutely abysmal, even if they did have the odd pretty funny scenes dotted throughout them, like when they got George Carlin on board to parody the architect scene in the Matrix Reloaded.

...oh, and to post on topic, I managed to lose a fiver in one of those self-checkouts in Sainsburys a few hours ago. FML, why me, isn't life horrid etc

Yes, there are loads of franchise reboots and remakes/sequels but there are also original movies coming out as well. I don't get when people always whine about Hollywood not having anymore ideas or they ran out of ideas. There are original movies that come out every year but they might not get as much attention as the remakes and sequels because those are fan favorites. I'm not talking about you specifically I just mean people whining in general.

I think the point of Scream was to make fun of all of those cliches but then use them. I liked all of them personally and I'm fine with another one coming out. I'm looking forward to it actually.
