It was always in the lounge. Someone accidentally moved it to a forum that contributed to post count, and all those posts added automatically to everyone's (who posted in the thread) post count. When it was moved back, the post count was re-calculated. Maybe some post counts were lost in the process?
Or if the thread was in the other forum for long enough, all the posts made during that time would have contributed, then are now removed.

How long have/had you had that many posts? Sexual Experience thread was briefly, incorrectly moved to the music forums for a couple of hours earlier today which would have bumped posts counts.
