So, as of Friday night, at 5:08 pm, this is what my car looks like:

A lovely gentleman in a Honda Civic decided that going 80mph in a 50mph zone, and running a stop sign would be a fantastic idea. I'm pretty sure he didn't factor my car into the equation.

What I'm most pissed off about is that as the glass shattered in my drivers side door, my glasses flew out the window and into the street where they got run over flat. I really loved those glasses.

Yeah, just bruised and scratched, but not broken. The left side of my body feels like...well, like a car hit it. My co-worker and I were pretty fortunate. Thanks for asking.

I went to get new glasses today. The eye doctor wanted to keep the old ones, which were salvaged from the middle of the road. Ha...

Good to hear you're ok, well compared to what could have happened. Luck is the most important thing in these situations when nothing depends on your action, but on some ****ty, reckless driver. Urgh, I hate that kind!

I'm very thankful his car hit in front of my door and not directly into my door. Things could have been so much worse.

And speaking of ****ty, wreckless drivers, it so happens that the guy failed the sobriety test the cops gave him...so he was hauled off to jail.

Don't drink and drive kids....seriously.

Organising things. I hate it, but I would never go out otherwise.
