I never understood why you would come to class if that's what you're going to do. Just skip. One of my professors said he once caught a student watching The Godfather II in one of his classes, which I'm sure would have been really distracting for anyone else around. Just watch it at home. Maybe hook it up to some speakers instead of watching it hunched over a laptop with headphones on and annoying the hell out of everyone else around you. Jesus.

I'm really sorry to hear that. That's awful. Sincere condolences - losing a pet is really painful.

Thanks guys, but to be honest it was for the best. He got diabetes a few years ago and since then hasn't been in the greatest health, and then this week he started urinating blood and throwing up a lot. After school I phoned my mom to see if I could hang out with a friend and she said I should come home because we are going to the vet to put him down. When I got home he couldn't even walk and could barely open his eyes. It was heartbreaking to say goodbye to him like that, but it needed to be done, he was suffering.

I'm sure you've done the right thing, but that doesn't make it easy.
I wish you a lot of strength getting over this big loss.

That sucks. One of my cats has disappeared and I think he's gone. He was sick and weak already.

In one of my sociology courses there's this kid who always raises his hand to participate in our daily class discussions on readings, but almost every time he starts rambling off topic and not really forming much of a thought that relates to what we are talking about. He's got this really think lisp and says "like" a ridiculous amount. He wastes so much of our time just talking before thinking.
