All I'm saying is hangovers aren't simply dehydration, nor does water do anything extra except provide a basic necessity, no matter how much you've heard otherwise in the movies... Have you ever been actually dehydrated, with no alcohol involved? I have. Spend a year in the desert at 140 F and you'll definitely become acquainted if you don't play your cards right. Anyway, it's not the same thing. And this is coming from someone who drinks a lot and has had many hangovers in the past. You're practically filling your body with poison. There's going to be both a mental, and physical repercussion. And it's not completely related to how much water you drank prior to sleep. My original comment was saying: Maybe you're just not drinking enough, since it seems obvious that your body has no problems cleansing itself from the toxins without any ill effects at all, no matter how temporary. Either that, or you're superhuman, and hangovers have plagued mankind since the beginning of alcohol simply because all those people never drank water... |

Great, on top of experiencing the most horrific disaster New Zealand has ever had, I've just discovered a guy from my class of 2005 has passed away. I can't take much more.

I always felt that I was a lightweight and it doesn't take much to get me drunk but I'm a bit on a heavy side so I'm pretty sure my body could take a beating in the drinking department before I'm truly drunk I guess. I dunno if my liver is screwed up or what but it doesn't take me much to get drunk but because of my weight, I should be able to handle so much more. You know what!? fuck it! you found out my secret. I will have to exterminate you if you tell anyone else about my superhuman abilities. I'm sorry to hear that V. My condolences

I sat through 2 hours of VH1's Greatest Rock Songs Of All Time segments. Which might I add is decided and voted on by us the fans. Only to see Gun's and Roses win the number one rock song of all time? What? Are the fans of hard rock smoking to much crack these days?

Hmm..I would need some time to think about it. I couldnt say off the top of my head. "Welcome to the jungle" certainly would not be it though. Guns and Roses,Nirvana, and Metalica were all in the top ten. What happened to bands that were around first like say...Beatles,Rolling Stones,Hendrix (of course) and many others I think deserving of being in the top ten ahead of these bands.

Yeah it just came to me man...soon as you said just let it rip I was like....Lindsay freakin Lohan man! How could you go wrong? The bands and songs you and I named as possible candidates are yesterdays past time. If we had any inclination as to what the makeup of good taste was nowadays...Lindsay should have been a no brainer right? I mean hands down..best ever.
