A $10 pair of ear buds might wear out in six months, but they're $10 so who cares?

Hmmm, my favourite headphones (AKG K141) are $125 new but mine are from 1978 and the new models do sound different. So I'm very careful with them

I'm using Skull Candy headphones, the Lowrider model. They do the job well, and only cost £30 or so. The only thing is they are a bit showoff-y, and I reckon people just assume I am an attention whore when I wak down the street with them. I was sick of buds though, always one side would end up losing sound quality dramatically, usually this was happening every 6 months (apple ones, JVC ones and sony ones were all guilty of this)

Not to make you mad but to prevent people from buying crap:
The skullcandy's (and boses, to be complete) are probably the worst headphones you can buy for more than 10 pounds. You pay for the design. A 9 pound Philips SHP2000 sounds way better. Don't change a thing if you like them, but as far as sound quality goes, they are no value for money.

I would say they dont really give a balanced sound, they are more bassy than anything else which does distort what you're listening to. I personally dont mind that too much, I like my music loud and bassy so they work for what I want.
Unless I was supposed to go into a rage? In which case AARRGGHH!!! |

Hahaha, I'm glad you respond honestly .
Loads of people don't want to hear what I think . You might want to try those philipses I mentioned next time. They're terriffic. I don't use mine very often as I've got four pairs of headphones that are better. I just bought them because I think they're brilliant value. I just wanted to sponsor them I guess .

lol I hate my neighbors for that. Whenever they hear my little laptop playing something they always want to have a battle of music/systems. Yeah I get it, you have an awesome set up, play that **** some other time, not when I'm playing a song on my laptop so I can hear it in the kitchen while i'm cooking/cleaning.
