The only people who dont like or understand sports are generally the people we use to pick on and make fun of in high school. Unless your a female why would you not like sports? Unless the mangina between your legs is holding you down grow a pair and try an discover if you have a ounce of athletic ability. Sports isnt something to take lightly in my opinion. Like anything else it takes talent and passion to succeed. I wouldnt knock anything you yourself cant out perform someone in. Especially football cause its even more so the sport where your smarts will only get you so far and then they'll get you in trouble.

i dunno, what's there to like about sports?
I like cars, music, people, animals, computer, audio, video, photography...

Because they're really, really boring? Though that's kind of beside the point. I can totally understand that some people are into them even if I'm not, but people who get upset about them are hysterically funny to me. It's like people who get upset about video games. Comedy gold.

I hold nothing against people who don't like or play sports. I just realize they don't understand certain things the way people who play and/or really like sports do, and I wouldn't expect them to either. I personally can't imagine not watching or playing sports growing up, and I'll definitely get my kids into sports at a young age cause they provide a lot of great things. Your post might be a little on the strong and harsh side, but it made me :rofl:

Funny thing, actually I did watch and play sports from a very young age, not sure why you seem to have an assumption that anyone who isn't into sports didn't play them growing up. I played basketball, baseball and soccer, and also swam and ran cross-country. I tried very hard for a long time to be excited about it because I thought that I was supposed to be. I collected baseball cards, watched sports on TV, etc. but at some point I just started to realize that I thought sports were boring. I liked being active but I just found playing organized sports to be incredibly dull and watching them was even worse.

Point being you cant just write something off completley cause of a lack of understanding or interest. It doesnt cause me lose sleep at night either if thats not someones's cup of tea. Everyones entitled to an opinion but an acknowledgment for the skill and dedication that it requires seems only fair. As far as the video game thing I see the humor in that myself. However without a passion for whatever your preference is nothing would prosper.

Am I allowed to find it funny when people get upset about sports though?
