It's totally okay, I think. I don't really know much of anyone who doesn't have guilty pleasure artists / songs which don't really reflect their musical taste...assuming that they're not the predominant genre they listen to, of course.

I personally love Paul Abdul's song "Straight Up" and more than three Lady Gaga songs. Doesn't reflect my overall taste at all.

I am 100% ashamed of my musical history. You will be too.

Interesting fact:
At one point in my musical history, I listened to Happy Hardcore. I thought it was cool at the time.

Here's my bitch for the day:
Today I got a reminder of just how cold it can get in eastern Canada. When I got up at five AM, our ultra-accurate thermometer measured in at -10. At school, the heat decided to malfunction so everybody in the class was buried amid piles of mittens and jackets thrown among themselves. Me, being extremely small, can't regulate body heat very well, so I sat in my chair helplessly shivering, and the sound of my teeth chattering was probably audible in the hallways. For some reason, I have this aversion to turning the heat on at night in my room, so I wore two pairs of pajama pants with a pair of long underwear. I'm also wearing two sweaters and a fancy shirt made of some material that is incredibly warm. If any of you ever plan on moving to my part of canada, I want you to stock up on lots and lots of warm clothes, unless you enjoy hypothermia. It's getting progressively colder and I don't think I'll be able to survive much longer.

Oh, God, that sucks! It's been around 30 degrees at night around here, and I thought that was miserable.

My current gripe:

I auditioned for a musical on Tuesday evening. It is now 1:16am on Saturday morning, and they haven't posted a cast list, announced callbacks (which they said may occur) or anything of the sort. I even checked with the other people who auditioned, and none of them have heard anything either. Additionally, the cast list is to be posted on the Facebook page of the theatre my group performs in, the website of the theatre, and things of that nature. I remember waiting what I thought was an inordinately long time for the last show with this group as well, but that was only from Tuesday to Thursday evening that I waited that time (most groups around here post cast lists the day after the final audition).

I'm kind of pissed not to have heard anything at all, and I'm kind of stressed because this wait has been extremely prolonged. I've never in my life had to wait this long, even when there had been shows which required numerous callbacks. Three full days and no word? Torture.

i was spiked at the nightclub i was at on friday, couldnt physically walk. Only had 5 normal vodka blackcurrant and lemonades. And one apple sourz. Im no lightweight at all, all my friends disapearred. Was left myself. To make things scarier a girl was spiked and dragged round the back of the club last week and repeatedly raped. Not saying it couldve happened to me but im very thankful that i got home alright . Can just about remember a snippet in a taxi alone then sitting on my doorstep crying... My mum had to carry me to my room. Was sick all night. To top things off its snowing around here and im running a flat tyre and my brother still hasnt fixed it and i need it for work in the morning. Fml.

It's a big bad world out there and I'm glad you are O.K. Spiking drinks is one of the most abhorrent things out there in regards to people just wanting to enjoy themselves.
