I think The Ramones win. I really had to think about whether I was going to buy mine or not. I did in the end. I must admit that the first thing that goes through my head when I see someone wearing a Ramones t-shirt is if they actually even like the band.

It's borderline infuriating. I blame the stores around here for stocking so many Pink Floyd shirts. |

Most common t-shirt around here is also the Ramones one. The Misfits thing is going around as well, but they're hardly in the same league in terms of vulgarity. Bet most people don't like either band. |

The most common t-shirt i see people wearing are Rolling Stones lips and tongue logo t-shirts and it's mostly girls. I can safely bet that a lot of them don't know what the hell it is. Ramones t-shirts probably come in second and i still have my doubts that some people who wear them know that they're a band. The Misfits craze was big about 4 or 5 years ago, everybody was wearing a Misfits t-shirt, hoodie or some sort of merchandise then, it's died off a bit now.
I don't see too many people wearing Pink Floyd shirts where i live. And those that do wear them actually listen to Pink Floyd.

Same. I dont see many Floyd ones, unless they are on middle aged men.
I dont see many Misfits ones anymore. Same with the Metallica St. Anger ones which kids seemed to go crazy for. Ramones t-shirts still get sold frequently in high street stores like Top Man, alongwith Iron Maiden and to a lesser extent, new Guns n' Roses designs. |

Most frequently worn band t-shirts around my area:
1. Pink Floyd DSOTM t shirt 2. Pretty much every Metallica shirt ever made 3. Guns 'n Roses logo shirt 4. Those damn Misfits t shirts 5. Ramones t shirts I've seen a few kids around with slayer t shirts, too. I can't wait to tell them that my aging stepfather is obsessed with them. I've also seen a few Aphex logo shirts, but they're most frequently worn by the social outcasts who I don't know. It's good to see that Richard is getting some recognition from the teenage population. |

Well i guess it's a different story in different parts of the world. I'm actually seeing less and less people in my town wearing Metallica t-shirts and hoodies compared to a few years ago, and i never see anyone wearing a Slayer t-shirt anymore. The kids in my town nowdays seem to be all wearing Avenged Sevenfold, AC/DC, Bullet For My Valentine and Trivium t-shirts and hoodies.
