Long distance is great!
I used to have a girlfriend in the lakes, for the most part it worked fantastically. Why can't you do long distance? You're working, so a train ticket wouldn't be a problem. I say do it, she likes Sonic Youth, Elliott Smith, Fight Club and a load of other great stuff. I always find girls who are morons and lack any real interest. Last one was into fucking dancing. |

Dunno, I've seen so many relationships crumble around me due to distance. And I work some weekends too and a lot of the days I'm off work she's in Uni. It just doesn't seem practical.
I wish I had the balls to try but alas. |

My bitch for the day is that I'm running out of beer, ideas for cool songs to listen to and I'm waiting on a text that could come any time in the next hour or so telling me high-tail out to town to hook up with some mates for the night. I'm pretty bloody bored at the minute then...

The nearest offie's about 45 minutes' walk away though. And Blur's Parklife is suiting me just fine for now Haven't listened to this album in yonks.
Also, talking of pains in the arse, none of my flatmates wanna go out tonight as well, which means I'll a walk on my own steam to the town centre, which'd be ok if I didn't feel really awkward walking to go clubbing by myself. Pathetic compared to a lot of folks' troubles I know, but it's good to have a whinge once in a while. |

And I have a friend who considers himself really into music but he really only listens to 10 dubstep songs and stuff like Dave Matthews (yeah.... he's a stoner.) It just really pisses me off when people act like they love something when they really just..... don't. And he's always saying things like "yeah that band's chill" when there's people he wants to seem cool to, when he's actually told me before that he doesn't like them. But he's also the kind of person who changes stories around or blatantly lies about things in an attempt to be funny, so I guess I should be used to it. |
