It was more a statement targeted to spastics that have 200 songs on their iPods.
200 albums would be about 2,500 songs. I think people who have bigger record collections have a bigger passion for music because they've explored it a lot more than those who only have a certain amount of records. If someone spends every day seeking out new music, I feel like they'd have more of a passion than someone who has had roughly the same amount of albums for a substancial amount of time. I may be alone here, I more than likely am but it's just the way I feel. |

Oh actually I kind of see where you're coming from, sorry xx. Also I hate it when you go onto someone's Facebook and in their 'music' section it's like "david guetta, kings of leon, tinie tempah, tinchy stryder, arctic monkeys, oasis, drake"
Most of my friends who like any one of the above are guaranteed to like all of the others as well. |

I hate that so so so much.
People with 0 musical knowledge claiming music is their life <333 as well. I'm really particular when it comes to people who say they're fans of music. How many albums do you have Anton? I bet you have a fair few 900-1,000 I'd guess. |

Throw a shirt on top of it. I saw a guy with a DJ Shadow shirt, so I immediately shouted at him..."hell yeah...endtroducing!!" He just stared at me and went "huh?". Turns out he was one of the "only heard a few songs" guys. That was annoying. I told him he should just give me that shirt.

Omg don't start me with that. I saw a guy out a few months ago with a Sonic Youth shirt on and I almost died and was like OMG WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE ALBUM? And he was like "never listened to them, I just really love this shirt". GO AWAY. I lectured him for like 30 minutes about how much he must go home and listen to them. I doubt he did.

I actually wish so much that some people off here were my friends IRL. I know music isn't everything with friendships but having friends with good music is just so good, I love it a lot, and with music meaning so much to me it does add to it.
This girl is one of my good friends though, but we dont see eachother often. Her music taste is the best thing. Shes going to Sonic Youth (AHEM MICHAEL) with me. <333 |
