I have this friend who is dead-set on bettering my musical tastes, and it's to the extent that I try to avoid her. Well, she's making me go over to her house, and just to be polite, I said yes. Well, I'm going there tomorrow, and I'm going to have to endure two hours of Cradle Of Filth and My Chemical Romance.

I'm so sorry... however here's a way to make it better, allow her to play CoF and MCR, but burn some of those metal albums I recommended you like The Sham Mirrors, The Focusing Blur, and Sing-Along Songs for the Damned and Delirious, and just when her mind is completely blown, tell her to STFU.

Got the shading all filled in on my elbow and the tender parts of my tricep yesterday. Decided to go out bar hopping with some friends last night and it seemed like my elbow was a magnet for everyone to bump into. It's so puffy and angry-looking today

I ended up punching a guy that wouldn't knock off with a very overt and douche-y style of hitting on me after several people and I told him I wasn't interested. He shoved me, probably drunkenly thinking he was being playful, causing me to scrape my elbow on some brick wall, so I punched him in the ribs and watched him crumple. Then I offered to hold his purse for him, in case he wanted to start slap-fighting me

I'm normally a very quiet person, especially in crowds, and I wasn't drinking, but he pressed his luck. After that, the night was great, except for my sore elbow; however, I don't think I'll be going out again any time soon. This was a good reminder of why I don't like to go to bars.
