Well, I pretty much forgot half of what I learned in 9th grade math (my absolute worst subject), and now I'm in grade 10 math with the worst, most incompetant, and lastly most difficult teacher in the school. This will be an awful semester just because of this one stupid class.

Was sick all weekend, missed a party, and have been sick all this week so far and will probably be sick tommorow and I have a huge load of homework. I have strep throat, and my nose is chapped from blowing it so much and it's still running.

His name is Evan and we're always being demented goofs together and now, I love him, and eventually I'm going top have to tell him. Unfortunately, he might not like me back, and things would get awkward between him and I.

God, this is a tricky situation.

Go for it. Potential gain outweighs the risks, which are never as big as your mind plays them out to be. Plus having a friend that fancies you but does nothing about it is really awkward because the situation isn't confronted, whereas doing something about it means the situation can be resolved. And you're in 8th grade so the chances are things will pan out positively for you.
