A tow truck was towing a car today, while I was on the pavement outside my school. Going over a speed bump, the chains broke and the car dismounted, and reversed wildly onto a property's lawn, perfectly into their driveway (smashed gate, of course).
-Bitch bitch bitch- Why did I not record that?!

tyring to download syriana, but NONE of the torrents have subtitles, and since I don't speak farsi or arabic, a lot of the scenes are pretty lost on me. quality control on pirated dvds really sucks....

Luckily when I was living in NZ I didn't have much 'stuff' and was pretty much living out of a suitcase... because that would have been a major bitch if I left anything at that house. Anyway, good luck with all the rest of the moving you have left! Hope the process doesn't prove to be too daunting! |

Leaving things in different places is the worst thing ever. It's just like urgh /facepalm, why did I do that? Well, I have a few pictures that I love. A TV, Xbox, 3 Guitars, DVDs/CDs and clothes, and that's really about it.. DVDs/CDs are packed up already. Buying furniture and a new bed, so we're binning the bed and selling my current furniture. So that doesn't sound too daunting.. But no doubt it will be. |

My bitch for today... kind-of depressing.
I was talking on the phone to my sister who lives overseas. She was telling me how her best friend was drugged and raped by a guy in her apartment block - they are pretty certain who the guy is. She got a rape kit done and evidence was found of semen and the drug, but apparently they don't have reason to test the guy "and there is nothing they can do." She can't move out because her lease hasn't ended, so she spoke to the landlord and the landlord said he needed to see an official police report and the results of the rape kit... the police are taking their time in compiling the evidence for the landlord. I don't understand... it makes me fucking angry that this girl was raped and the guy responsible is continuing his life without any consequences? And she's having to continue living in the same apartment block as him? Authorities need to step up and realise that rape is a very serious offense, and stop shrugging it off. |
