God, I couldn't stand that guy.

Yeah I guess. There are certain negative stereotypes to aim at British people but in my experience I've never had any of these directed at me personally. The only infatuation seems to be the accent. People tend to be very vocal about Americans, even face to face. I've never experienced that.

It's annoying when you go on holiday and want to chill out, have a few drinks and everyone around you does something like this:

Them: Oooh. You talk funny. Say this...
Me: (Says it)
Them: (Laughs) Ok, say this...
Me: (Says it)
Them: (Laughs) Ok, now say this...
Me: Seriously?

I'm tired.
I've been having trouble sleeping at the right times or sometimes at all for weeks now.
I'm getting lots of headaches, probably for this reason.
I have a job where I get no hours, so have actually worked out financally worse off for it.
I have no income at present. Absolute zero.
My nana is in hospital with dementa and alzheimer's and is looking as though she's is going to end up in a home as shes getting worse every day.
My laptop is screwed. I can open Firefox and iTunes but nothing else responds.

So i'm pretty much just fed up.

I will record a song for you and Zoey. I surely hope you get through this tough passage in your life and I also wish you great events in the near future.

Hoping for your tommorrow to be wonderful,

Alex

And Adelaide, where I lived, is some 1300km from Sydney... the chances aren't great I'd know some random friend of a Wisconsinite living in Sydney...

I had someone ask me a similar, first they asked for permission if he could ask if NYC, I told him please don't, I don't live near NYC and I don't know anyone from NYC.And then they were like "yeah you might know him." and I told him that America is a pretty big country I wouldn't know him. Then asked if I knew this guy and the answer came back a flat "no." I admit I admired the his optimism; the odds alone I would know this guy would come out to be like one out of ~ three hundred million.

Thanks, guys...it's really weird without her around. I feel weird sometimes getting all choked up over a cat, but she was my little buddy.

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty. Losing pets can be terribly traumatic. Hang in there.

It's worse when you're from Texas. Even Canadians (the few I've talked to in person anyway) think we all wear cowboy hats and ride horses to work. And the accent (even if it's not a heavy drawl) provides hours of entertainment...."Say 'y'all'!" "Say 'howdy'!" "Is everything really bigger in Texas?"

Duga, I'm soooo sorry, I have no idea what I'd do without my beloved dog. I actually can't imagine how you feel. Chin up, champ.

Thanks. Im trying to keep my head up but I am definitely getting overwhelmed sometimes. Major mood swings, like a woman. Oh and it's 3:40am so nah, no improvement on the sleep front.
