Pete- assfuck that sounds awful. Sorry for you. As you said though, it could have been worse. The closest thing like that that's ever happened to me is my bike getting stolen right out of my yard (two, actually, but one was found outside the house of some family we knew. weird....)

Ahhhh, crap, thieves are *******s... that freaking sucks and I am sorry to hear it... I don't think people who steal for whatever reason quite understand that most of us have to work our butts of to get the nice things we have and then some jerk just goes to steal it to sell it off for drugs or something stupid like that...

Yup, knowing that there was a thief in you house can be pretty damaging, emotionally I mean. When I was 8, we got robbed, and I wasn't able to sleep in the dark for the next 10 years. It might've been, bcz I was awake and heard the thief that night. Still is an ugly experience, so I hope it all gets better for you (and your mum).

It's pretty good, that nothing you hold on to dearly, was stolen. Though speaking of the stolen PS3, the first thing my brother went to check on the second he heard we got robbed, was the Fifa 98 CD. Which was a pirated disc we had.

I'd be pissed beyond belief if any single Cd in my collection was stolen.... I'd be livid...
