Woke up this morning to find my ring missing, which sucks because while it (unfortunately) didn't grant me some uber-cool superpower or whatever, it really was very precious indeed. Expensive shit too. Just gotta wait for it to turn up someplace or other I guess...

I can't believe she passed away.
I don't think I can really fathom someone I know like that passing away, whether I liked her or not isn't the case.
I knew her.
I had talked to her.
And it was in a car accident.
What the hell.
She didn't deserve it.
She wasn't a mean person.
She wasn't even driving the car.

i'm sorry to hear someone you know has passed away. i can relate to feeling the way you described.

please tell me it wasn't related to drunk driving...that is the most senseless way to go

They don't know yet, they're still investigating.
I wasn't friends with her, I actually only remember arguing with her.
And I'm pretty sure it's because arguing was all that happened.

Either way, no one deserves to die that way.
Thankfully, they died on contact.
No suffering. =\

I hate it when in American films and series, the French, while talking French, they have some weird "imitating the French accent" accent. If they're already speaking French, why are you adding the accent for. It's always them showing how delicate and classy the French are... I'm sure you won't find a French person with a thin moustache wearing a beret while painting on his tripod, at the foot of the Eiffel tower. I don't even know how this stereotype was created... since when French are refined.

Plus if a French is talking English, it won't be like that "French maid sexy accent" all Americans have been fantasising about for decades ... sorry to burst the bubble.
