I don't trust my alarm clock anymore, after waking up late twice already this semester.. for the same class! They need to start making alarm clocks harder to operate, because I'm pretty sure I've been turning mine off in my sleep.

Or it's just your subconscious sabotaging you because it doesn't want to go to class. It's hard for me to really look at a situation like this with an open mind though because of my years of waking up at 5 A.M. I have developed the ability to tell myself I want to wake up at a particular time and it just happens.

That does really work. I always wake up 1 minute before the alarm.
I have 12 hours to think of a plot for a movie I should be doing this semester, and still no freakin' idea wat to do! [oh and it's 1a.m] so if I want to think of something I should stay awake all night before uni.

I've never had the need for an alarm i nearly always wake up in time. Although saturday was a bit of an exception, i woke up at 8:15 and i usually get up for work or college at 8. It wasn't exactly a disaster but i think everyone tends to panic when they wake up, look at the time and see they're running a bit late. I have an alarm clock in my room but the alarm is so quiet i'd sleep through it, i might hook it up to an amp for fun

I'm having trouble going to bed and waking up at a reasonable time... went to bed at six in the morning, and I woke up at six in the evening. This has been happening all week and I don't know to fix it... and I might go to a show tommorrow.

I procrastinate way too fucking much... I have this 10 page Young's modulus lab that I have to do for tomorrow and I've only finished the introduction... goddammit...

I'm the same way, I'll let my work pile up until the last possible second and try to get it all done in one night. Once I start working though I don't stop until it's all finished.. that's the only thing that saves me most of the time.

I've been doing that all summer [cause I prefer to live in the night]. Anyway, I have a technique to fix it: Stay up in the night and though the morning. When I the evening comes you'll be exhausted, thus sleeping ridiculously early, but for a long time. so you'll be waking up in a normal time. So if you stay awake from 6p.m till the next day's 7p.m. so you're awake for more than 24h. In such occasions I tend to sleep for 12 hours. You sleep 7p.m and wake up at 7-8 a.m. Perfectly normal in the school, uni or work days.

I envy those who don't need alarms to wake up. I tend to use two alarms in case I turn off the first one in a sleepy haze. Sometimes in the past I've even managed to subconsciously factor the sound of an alarm into whatever I was dreaming about.
