I just switched my music on my 4gb samsung last night. I deleted everything of it because I was filling it all up with new stuff anyways. When it got to about half way while filling it up again, my computer crashed. Not too bad since I have all the stuff it put on first, but since it kinda fills it in reverse of how you drag stuff onto it, none of the tunes I put on first because I really wanted to have them got put on, Grr...

I have an 80 GB iPod and it's full Not that I could ever listen to that much music before having access to a computer, but I am far too lazy to actually spend time regularly switching out music on it. I just want to have my whole library with me anywhere I go. On top of that, it's starting to get really ****ed up. It freezes every couple of weeks and I can't reset it; I just have to wait till it dies and then charge it up again. Also, the headphone jack has gotten really loose so that the only way I can listen to it is by pushing the end of the headphones where they plug in back and holding them there. Otherwise the sound only comes through the left channel. I need to get it fixed, but I don't want to spend several weeks without my iPod. So instead, I try to balance heavy things on the cord while I'm at work until i get it pressed down perfectly right to play. And then I have to readjust them every 15 or 20 minutes. It's a pain in the ass. On the upside, I haven't been so busy at my day job lately so I have time to do that.

you could just remove the artist plays from your library, or turn off scrobbling when you're not there.
