I was talking about "professional" criticism in general. Fashion criticism obviously falls into that.

And yes Sheffield is horrible, aside from writing those AWFUL columns in every RS issue about his obsession with Britney Spears, he is a horrible critic, with no journalistic talent in any form.

Anyone who gives Pink Floyds Animals a bad review on the grounds that "songs about farm animals are automatically bad" is obviously an idiot.

One of my best friends brother's killed themself yesterday... And I'm upset, and my girlfriend's really upset, and I feel terrible for Nat...

That's terrible Blane.

The best thing you could do now is support your friend.
Talk to him about his brother (when he's ready) and just listen.

I had a similar experience and one of my friends observations, was how people avoided talking to him about his brother.
