My perspective was way more optimistic at first but I don't have a very hopeful perspective on the future of the working class in this country.

Yeah **** sucks. I acknowledge that there's no guarantee that I'm living in the socialist version of the End Times and so anything I do could be or at least feel pointless. Maybe look into your local John Brown Gun Club.

I've kind of broadened my criteria to include people I don't care much about so long as they're not straight up arse holes. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt that maybe they're going through some **** that makes them less than pleasant to be around.
